To help expand research opportunity to high-school students from local schools and stimulate them towards becoming chemistry professionals. Our lab is collaborating with the local Utica community schools, UTICA Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology (UCMST) for an internship program: 3-week participation of high school students for research, especially with hands-on experience of contemporary science. We designed and titled our internship program to be coherent with our research theme of “Chemistry in redox signaling and regulation”, which provides a training experience that are mutually beneficial to both high school students and graduate students in our laboratory.
