All incoming graduate students are encouraged to meet with Prof. Andreana before ultimately making their decision to join a research group in the department.

ORGANIC STUDENTS

There are ample projects available in a wide array of formats.  From natural product synthesis to solid support chemistry, the goal is to provide an environment amenable to adaptation and change while ensuring the success of each individual by meeting their needs. 

CHEMICAL BIOLOGISTS

Tackling issues related to the immune system is the central theme in the Andreana Group, however, there are ample projects that involve kinetic study of enzymes, protein purification and developing novel assays for small molecule detection.  The goal is to ensure a high level of education in the area of Chemical Biology and to provide a rigorous training environment.
