Priority will be given to new assistant professors about to start their positions but not beyond their third year on the faculty. More senior faculty will be considered on a space available basis only. We can accommodate up to 75 participants at the August workshop and about 70 in June.

Our current funding will be used to offer fellowships for faculty unable to find institutional support participation at the workshop. Fellowships cover ground costs (hotel and food) only and attendees must still pay for transportation to and from the workshop. Nomination of multiple participants from one department are encouraged, but fellowships will be limited to at most one per department. Additional participants from a department will be at the department's expense. If you wish to be considered for a fellowship please indicate that on the nomination form.

Ground costs for the 2019 workshop will be $600. We will collect payment for the workshop after the nomination process finishes and travel fellowships are awarded.

Cancellation Policy: Please try to determine if you will be able to attend the full workshop in advance of applying since we have limited space and usually have to turn people away. If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the event, we will honor a full refund minus the transaction fees incurred if you paid by credit card. Cancellation 2-4 weeks in advance of the workshop will incur a $200 cancellation fee. No refunds will be available for people who cancel with less than 2 weeks notice.
