The 2008 Conference on Ion Chemistry
and Mass Spectrometry

    You are cordially invited to attend the 2008 Ion Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry Conference at Lake Arrowhead. The conference will take place between Friday, January 11th and Sunday, January 13th, 2008. The latest developments in gas phase ion chemistry and mass spectrometry will be presented. A flexible schedule will allow plenty of time for discussions. Poster and oral presentations by graduate students and postdocs are most welcome. A limited number of presentations by faculty are also welcome, but the focus of this meeting is really the training of students.

“Holy Grails in Gas-Phase Ion Chemistry: Are There Any”

Registration fees that include registration, room, and meals are $370/person (to be updated) for a double occupancy room, $435/person (to be updated) for a single occupancy room, or $150/person (to be updated) for Saturday only (3 meals and registration). Likewise, the registration fees for accompanying companions or spouses are $340 (to be updated), while children sharing accommodations with their parents are $150/child (to be updated). The check-in and room assignments start at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 11th. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 13th.

· Applications must be received no later than December 12^th 2007 to guarantee acceptance. However, registration is only guaranteed for the first 50 individuals registered. Beyond 50 registrants, we will need to triple up in the cabins to accommodate people. Unfortunately, the UCLA conference center will not give us a break on the fees for tripling up.

· Individuals registering after December 12^th 2007 will be accommodated on a space available basis. However, registration fees increase by $20 for those who register after December 14^th 2007.

· Please send registration fees to Michael T. Bowers to be received NO LATER than January 4^th 2008 at the address given below.
