RáczKozár, Hegyhát, Baranya, Hungary
RáczKozár, now known as Egyházaskozár, had a population of 5 Serbian families when census records were taken in 1696. In the eighteenth century Germans, some from Hessen and others from Württemberg, began arriving to augment the farming community. Between 1752 and 1768, the German population steadily increased and within a generation the community became the spiritual center for German Lutherans from several thriving villages – Bikal, Csikostöttös, Gerényes, Kapos Szekcsö (Szekcsö), Ligeth, Nagyág (Ág), Szabadi, Tarros, Tékes, Tófü, – in the area.
